Tenants Claiming Housing benefits
If you are unemployed or have a difficult circumstance you will be pleased to know that we offer a number of properties which accept housing benefit Tenants. If you would like to rent a property with us then your first step would be to register your details. Registry is free with no obligations and you do not have to book an appointment.
How to register
If you would like to register then a member of our staff will be able to complete a form with you. Here are the times and days that we complete registry form:
- Wednesday - 9.00am - 10.30am
- Friday - 9.00am - 10.30am
After your form is completed we can then arrange for you to view a property or place your name on a property file until it becomes available to view. We only keep registry forms for up to 6 months. This means that if you have registered outside of this period you will need to re-register.
If you have registered then please take a look at our contact details which can be found in the web site's navigation bar. This will enable you to call and arrange a viewing.
Please note that you may only apply for a property if it specifies that it accepts Housing Benefit. This can be found out from our rental list in one of the right hand columns.
Employed Tenants
If you are employed then the registry process above will not apply to you. This means that you are free to arrange a viewing or place your contact details on any property file. You can find all of our contact details by selecting the link from the navigation bar on the left.
Holding A Property
Under company policy we do not allow anyone to reserve a property without first viewing it officially with one of our members of staff. After viewing a property if you decide that you would like to let it then you must call into our office and pay a reservation fee. Our reservation fee is £150.00. This will hold the property for upto 2 weeks in which time we will prepare the paperwork for you to move in.
If you decide that you do not want to let the property then your reservation fee will be given to the Landlord for loss of rent, however if the Landlord has to take the property off the market then your reservation fee will be returned to you.
